Many GMX distributors have had this same experience. Soon the original distributors discovered that large and productive sales organizations had grown up under them--downlines whose retailing activities were yielding lucrative bonuses and overrides each month. This is a natural occurrence at GMX Distributors who set the pace by maintaining their focus on retailing and helping the people they sponsor do the same, soon develop large and productive downline sales organizations. When this happens,they become increasingly important as leaders and motivators of their downline groups. they find that their time is best spent helping the distributors in their downlines hone their skills and maximize their personal and group sales volumes. Perhaps the best way to tell you about the tremendous benefits available through the GMX Compensation Plan is to take you on a journey--a journey that begins with joining the GMX family of independent distributors, and leads to the highest position in the plan: International Marketing Director. But first let's go over a few of the basics if the plan: Permanent Advancements Many network marketing plans require distributors to meet rigorous performance goals month after month in order to maintain their positions within the plans. This often results in the "warehousing" of products as well as irresponsible sponsoring just to achieve the required numbers. GMX eliminates this common fault by making advancements permanent. Once you advance to a position in the GMX Compensation Plan, you will never be demoted to a lower position. That position is yours for the life of your distributorship...or until you move up to a higher position. Four Ways to Earn There are four basic ways to earn income in the GMX Compensation Plan, plus special incentives and expense account allowances which we'll discuss later. Each of these five main income opportunities provides earning potential that is only limited by your willingness to tap into it. As you progress in the plan, you can qualify for all five income opportunities and your income from each will grow as you build your business. 1. Retail Profits When you sell GMX products to customers , you order them directly from GMX. The wholesale dollar amount of the products you personally order from GMX is called your Personal Volume (PV). Your customers pay you the retail price for the products,and GMX charges you the wholesale price. The difference is your retail profit. The net wholesale price you are charged is calculated by deducting a wholesale discount from the wholesale price. This discount gets larger as you move up the plan, ranging from 0 percent to 20 percent. 2. Discount Overrides You will be rewarded for sponsoring new distributors into the GMX network and creating a "downline" sales organization consisting of the people you sponsor, the people they in turn sponsor, and so on. One of the rewards you will receive is the discount override. This override consists of a percentage of the wholesale dollar amount of the purchases and sales (also called Personal Volume, or PV) of all the people in your downline who hold any of the four Factory Representative positions. The percentage ranges from 5 percent to 20 percent depending on your position. 3. Organization Bonuses Another reward for building a productive downline sales organization is the organization bonus. When you become an Advanced Factory Representative ( AFR) and higher you can earn 4 percent organization bonuses on the Group Volume (GV) of other people in your downline who are AFRs and higher who are in as many as your first five generations. Let's take a moment to define two terms you may not be familiar with: GROUP VOLUME: A distributor's Group Volume is his or her wholesale purchase volume, plus the wholesale purchase volume of all levels of Factory Representatives in his or her downline, excluding the volume of any downline Advanced Factory Representatives (and above) and their respective downline groups. GENERATION: If you sponsored Bob, and Bob sponsored Helen, and both were Advanced Factory Representatives or above who qualify for organization bonuses , then Bob would be in your first generation , and Helen would be in your second generation. If Bob were not currently an AFR or above, or didn't qualify for an organization bonus, then Helen would be in your first generation. Only your downline AFRs and above who qualify for organization bonuses can occupy generation positions in your downline. 4. Marketing Director Bonuses A fourth income opportunity is the Marketing Director Bonus, available to those who have risen to one of the top three positions in the compensation plan . When you qualify for this bonus you will earn 5 percent of your Open Volume(OV). Here's another definition: OPEN VOLUME: The Group Volume of all the Factory Representatives and Advanced Factory Representatives in your downline, excluding the Group Volume of any of your downline Marketing Directors and above.
