GMX was honored to have sponsored a Christmas Tree for The Mercy Medical Center Foundation Festival Of Trees this past weekend. The foundation supplies food, clothing, shelter, and assistance to disabled and underpriviledged children residing in Douglas County Oregon.
The Festival Of Trees is the biggest fund raiser of the year. Our tree sold for $4,200.00--were we ever excited! All of the money raised went to The Foundation which is ran by The Sisters Of Mercy. The total amount raised for the event was $242,000.00. Two of my girlfriends and me decorated the tree and the surrounding area. It took us 2 days.
I wanted to share with you one of the things GMX does in helping others.
